It's time to let go.....
Well I have grown tired of throwing mony on a bad investment.....So I am walking away from my house. I have researched it and thank God I live in a consumer friendly state. I know it is just adding to the poor economy, but the payments/taxes/HOA is too much after having my son...Not to mention I have been sleeping on my couch for the last month and a half, b/c he (Cale) snores and is loud during the night.

I am picking up and leaving.....And I love the way it feels!!!!

Yes, I am foreclosing....I am going back to renting.....I just can't keep throwing monwy at a bad investment, and I am tired of paying damn near 2,000 a month to live in a one bedromm in the ghetto! I found a house to rent in Torrance, CA for about $1,750, and this way my son will be able to attend good school, we won't be AS broke, and I won't have to watch my back everytime I step out my front door....I can't sell, and I don't want to modify, b/c then it will become a resource lone and then when I do want to leave I won't have a choice....so now seems as good a time as any.

Yea it sucks...but not as bad as staying there.....I have such a bad taste in my mouth about owning....I feel like I never want to buy again (I know I iwll, but not for a LONG time)....I feel like even though it will screw up my credit....It's best for my son...I won't raise him in a bad neighborhood when I can afford not to, ya know? He deserves a better quality of life and good education. I am sure after the nervousness wears off we will be much happier!!!!

The other way I see it as an investment is having no mortgage in retirement....It makes thing a lot more inexpensive for seniors that way....But for now, I am only 22 I have plenty of time to buy and pay off before retirment...And hopefully I will have a better experience next time. When I started researching what would happen to me if I foreclosed I was surprised to see....pretty much nothing except a shitty credit score for a couple years. No wonder everyone is walking! I just feel like there hasn't to be something I haven't read about or talked to someone about that they can come after me for.....But I can't find anything.
